Peacock House, Suffolk UK

This new-build family residence on the outskirts of a coastal town in Suffolk is a Swiss/UK collaboration with the architects BHSF Arkitecten, Zurich. The building was conceived as a cluster of buildings including an artist's studio, sauna, office and garage arranged around a sheltered internal courtyard. The palette of materials used were inspired by the traditional vernacular of East Anglia, such as charred timber cladding and knapped flint.
